Warning signs
Gambling may be becoming a problem if you:
- Chase losses, betting more to win back what you lost.
- Gamble with money meant for rent, bills, food or debt.
- Borrow money, sell things, or hide spending to keep gambling.
- Lie to people close to you about how much you gamble.
- Feel restless or irritable when you try to cut down.
- Gamble to escape stress, anxiety or low mood.
- Have tried to stop before and could not.
If several of these sound familiar, talking to one of the services above costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
Tools that actually work
- Self-exclusion. Most licensed operators must let you block your own account, and national schemes can block you across many operators at once — GAMSTOP in the UK, and state-run programmes in much of the US.
- Deposit and loss limits. Set them before you play, not during. Limits you set while losing are the ones you remove while losing.
- Blocking software. Gamban, BetBlocker and similar tools block gambling sites at the device level, including this one.
- Bank blocks. Many banks can decline gambling transactions on your account, often with a cooling-off period before the block can be lifted.
What this site is
GambleBid is an advertising board. Every listing on it is there because someone paid to put it there, and a high position means only that they paid more than the listing below. It is not a recommendation, and it says nothing about whether an operator is licensed, fair or safe.
Gambling is a form of entertainment with a negative expected return. Over time, the house wins. Never gamble with money you cannot comfortably lose.
